AI buttons ask a model a question, and send along what’s on your Mac: the app in front, a picture of the active window, the text you’ve selected, your terminal’s branch and folder. The answer is spoken aloud, typed at your cursor, or both. Use Claude, OpenAI, or a model running locally with Ollama, with your own key.
Set up on your Mac
It sees what you see.
Pick the context for each AI button. It goes with your question when you tap.
- The app in front. The name of the app you’re using.
- The active window. A picture of the window in front of you.
- Your selected text. Whatever you’ve highlighted.
- Your terminal. Its folder, git branch, and running command.
- Your network. The Wi‑Fi network name and whether a VPN is on.
- Only what you pick. Each button sends just the context you turn on.
It answers out loud.

Through your Mac, in an OpenAI voice or one built into macOS.
